How to use Lunch Module on Odoo 13 – CBMS Odoo ERP

This is an essential module for lunch management. Organizations may arrange distinctive food items for their workers and it is hard to oversee if the representative number is high. So there demands an appropriate administration to consider things. Odoo lunch module helps the company to deal with the nourishment requests and spare the worker’s time.

First of all, install the Lunch Module from the App list.

As soon as you enter the dashboard you see the already created food orders. One can easily categorize these lunch orders using the parameters set on the left side. One can see both categories and vendors on the left side of the interface.

Products
To start with, firstly we need to configure the products.

So as to configure the products, go to Lunch – Configuration – Product
Click the CREATE button to configure the new products.

Under the product create a form, one can add the product name, product image, product category, default vendor for this product and also the price for the product.

Via clicking the option New Until, you can set the order’s validity.
Click SAVE to mark the changes.

To configure product categories,
Go to Lunch- Configuration- Product categories.

Alerts
Sometimes employees may forget to order food items, causing much delay in the processing of the order or delivering it. Therefore, to avoid such situations, the Odoo lunch module has come up with Alert feature. The feature will trigger alerts so that no delays take place in order to take.

The user can set the display of alert say- Alert in app/ chat notification, recurrence for the Alert ( days), Message, Location, and Show until timing.

Creating Order
To configure an Order under the lunch module, select the products from product form.

For that go to the dashboard,
Select your desired product from the listed. In the form, you can add the specifics, say if you are allergic to certain products or you want special sauce or something else within it.

Click Add to cart for adding the product to your menu.

On top of the interface, you can see your order specifying the product and its price. Click the ORDER NOW button.
You can now see it as ORDERED.

Via going to Lunch- My Lunch- My Order History, one can view the created orders.

From here, you can confirm or cancel the order via clicking the appropriate button.

Managers
Managers can view the orders created by the user. For that go to Lunch- Managers-Today’s Orders.

Control Vendors
It is obvious to have more than one refreshment zone at an office place. Therefore, one can control the vendors to deliver your specific food orders.

For that go to Lunch- Manager- Control Vendors.

One can select the predefined set orders with vendors here. If you aren’t happy with the already created you can configure a new via going to the product configuration menu.

To configure a new vendor, go to Lunch- Configuration- Vendors.

Control Accounts
The manager can view and manage all user accounts by going to Control accounts.
