Stock can be replenished in Odoo by generating requests for quotations or manufacturing orders. #odoo15 #odoo #odooinventory
Replenishment operations ensure that the right products are in the best place by making the stock full again in order to avoid stock-out. By triggering a reordering rule we can decide the quantity to be replenished. It can also be initiated by a backorder passed to a supplier or to a manufacturer.
Go to Inventory-► Operations-► Replenishment. Here we have a list view that shows some details for product replenishment with fields: Product, Onhand, Forecast, Prefered route(Dropship, Buy, Manufacture, Resupply subcontractor on order), Bill of material, Vendor, Trigger(Auto, Manual), Min Quantity(Generate procurement when stock equals to or goes below this value), Max Quantity(Generates procurement to bring quantity to the maximum quantity ), Multiple quantities (Procurement quantity will be rounded up to this multiple), To order(Quantity to be replenished) and Company.
Entries are created automatically on this page when a reordering rule is created from a product with a trigger type manual. Entries can also be created manually from this page by clicking the CREATE button and adding appropriate values for the fields. After creating an entry click on Order Once to replenish the product so that a manufacturing order or RFQ will be generated depending upon the preferred route set. You can also see Automate Orders which will be automatically triggered to replenish a product. It is also possible to snooze a replenishment for a day, week, month, or for a custom date by clicking the Snooze option shown along with each entry.
