    Any chance you can do a vid on more advanced manufacturing for us old school Odooers? We are currently on 14 on SH and want to get to v16 but not sure what the update/upgrade process is. The content from this video is great but really is more of an assembly process and not manufacturing. I am sure there are others that could benefit from a true manufacturing workflow where you are taking multiple raw products and creating a finished good to sell. Thanks and always enjoy the new vids fellow brodooer

    Can Odoo support manufacturing processes from raw material to finish products? We are a metal foundry mfg and we start from making the molds (which have several operations) then assemble the molds then pour the metal in the molds. From there we then have to break the mold to get the part out which then moves on to several manual operations of cutting, grinding, inspection, testing etc. All while keeping track of the lot and serial numbers we issue for quality control. Each operator would scan the step they are in on the workorder and how many parts have he finished from the lot so we can then track the parts in our shop and estimate an end date to our customer.

    Can BoM item be substituted with same product but different brand or vendor?
    Yes, it's 2 components.
    Let's say I have
    ITEMA = COMPONENT A from VENDOR A and
    ITEMB = COMPONENT A from VENDOR B
    can it be automated replace if ITEMA have less stock then ITEMB to produce?

    What if my materials are in my Inventory? Like I have a package deal on my site for 10 items. A person buys this offer (10 products). Therefore the BOM deducts that automatically from my inventory. So if I have 10 widgets in my Stock and somebody orders the product "10 widgets deal". It will deduct 10 widgets from my stock/inventory.

    Thank you for the helpful video! I noticed that in my BoM overview, my operations times are greater than the manual value I inputted. I noticed the same in your video. Is there a way to fix this?

    Folks, How do you print the operations instructions on the Manufacturing Order and Work Order. We have started to test Odoo and when printing a Manufacturing Order the operation instructions are no where to be found.

    I do not get the work flow Odoo is trying to achieve. I have a components that takes 20 hours to make. The end time that is shown is exactly 20 hours from the scheduled time. I have 48 hours/week configured for each of the stations. How do i get End time to be calculated according to 20 work hours and not just 20 hours to get accurate planning details?
