1. Go to Settings → Users & Companies → Groups
2. Select the User Group you want to edit (e.g., “Sales Manager”).
3. Scroll down to the Access Rights or Rules section.
4. If your category is a field on a model (e.g., product.category), you’ll need to add a Record Rule:
Create a new Record Rule (Settings → Technical → Security → Record Rules).
Choose the Object (e.g., product.product or product.template).
In the Domain Filter, specify something like:
[(‘categ_id’, ‘=’, category_id )]
Assign this rule to the specific User Group.
5. Save, then test with a user in that group.
