Creating New Appraisals in Odoo 18
The Odoo 18 Appraisals app allows managers to initiate the performance review process by creating new employee appraisals.
Key Steps:
Access the Appraisals App: Navigate to the Appraisals application in Odoo.
Click “New”: Create a new appraisal record.
Enter Employee Details:
Select the employee.
Manager, Department, and Company fields are automatically populated (if available).
Set Appraisal Date: The current date is automatically set as the appraisal date.
Confirm Appraisal: Click “Confirm” to initiate the appraisal process. This will notify the employee.
Post-Confirmation Actions:
Status Update: The appraisal status changes to “Confirmed.”
Employee Feedback Section: Becomes accessible to the employee for self-assessment.
Final Rating Field: Appears for the manager to enter the final rating.
This streamlined process ensures that the appraisal process is initiated efficiently and effectively, setting the stage for a successful performance review.
