That said, here’s a general guide on how to settle (i.e., complete and pay for) POS orders in Odoo Point of Sale:

✅ Steps to Settle an Order in Odoo POS:
Open POS Session

Go to Point of Sale — Dashboard.

Click on your POS session (e.g., “Shop” or “Restaurant”) to open it.

Add Products to the Cart

Select the products the customer wants to purchase.

Adjust quantities, apply discounts, or remove items if needed.

Click “Payment”

Once the order is ready, click the [Payment] button.

Select Payment Method

Choose a payment method: Cash, Bank, Credit Card, etc.

Enter the amount received if using cash.

Validate Payment

Click [Validate] to finalize the payment and settle the order.

A receipt is printed or displayed, depending on your configuration.

Order is Settled

The order is now considered paid and is stored in the backend.

You can view it under Point of Sale — Orders.
