Odoo POS 18 offers a convenient feature to split bills, making it easier to handle payments from multiple customers or for individual items in a group order. Here’s how to utilize this feature:
1. Enable Bill Splitting:
Navigate to Point of Sale — Configuration — Settings.
Select the desired POS and enable the Allow Bill Splitting option under the Restaurant & Bar section.
2. Splitting a Bill:
Open a Session: Start a new POS session.
Add Products: Add the items to the order as usual.
Click the “Split” Button: Locate the “Split” button on the POS interface and click it.
Select Items to Split: A new window will appear, displaying the order items. Select the items you want to include in the split bill.
Create New Bills: The selected items will be moved to a new bill, allowing you to process payments separately.
Process Payments: Proceed to the payment screen for each split bill, selecting the appropriate payment methods.
