after export to excel, then input the update data, then import to database, but it differrent database (duplicate database from first db) why it can not replace existing data, but create new data.?

Thanks for all of the videos brother! We have the same weird dry sense of humor, so it makes watching these awesome. Great dry minds think alike? 🤔 🤣

The one thing that Odoo makes SO confusing; When you select the dropdown arrow on the right of the field name, sometimes it shows repetitive fields from the hierarchy or other child fields in other tables.

Do have one question; I have approx 40k products to import. How could I import all of the data at once? Should I just connect directly to the database itself? Expanded the table for additional fields, and know the mapping/structure is 100%. Have tested a handful of items on upload, so I’m not worried about that. Plus I made a backup god forbid something is wonky.

Great information, thank you for sharing. One question: if we want to import product with variant do we have to import the product template (product/product) and the product (product/product template)
