Odoo supports many types of fields to store into a database, boolean fields are one of them.It supports invisible,help , string, etc….it can be viewed as checkboxes.In this video it shows how to show a boolean field as a toggle button.It replaces the checkboxes as toggle switches with the toggle button widget.
