By default, Odoo Planning’s calendar lets you create shifts one by one, which can be tedious. There are a few ways you can achieve mass creation depending on whether you want to use Odoo’s native features or customization.
Copy Existing Shifts
In the Planning – Calendar View, create a shift.
Use the copy/duplicate option or drag & extend to replicate across multiple days or employees.
If you need weekly recurring schedules, you can publish shifts weekly and reuse templates.
Shift Templates
Create shift templates (e.g., “Morning Shift 9–5”).
Assign them quickly from the calendar by clicking on empty slots.
