In Odoo, a Scheduled Action (also called a cron job). Scheduled Actions in Odoo are automated tasks that run at set intervals without user input. They are used for things like sending reminder emails, updating reports, or cleaning up old data.
You can set them up in Settings → Technical → Scheduled Actions, choosing:
What to run (a Python function in a model)
When to run it (every hour, daily, weekly, etc.)
For example, a scheduled action could send invoice reminders automatically every morning.
