Every business has products that get damaged, expire, or simply can’t be sold anymore. If those items stay in your system, your stock numbers won’t match what’s actually on your shelves. In this video, I show you how to handle them in Odoo 20 using a Scrap Order, so your inventory stays accurate.
We start in the Inventory app, where you’ll find Scrap under Operations. Then we create a new scrap order, choose the product, enter the quantity, and add a reason so you can track why stock was removed later. You’ll also see how the source and scrap locations work, and what the Should Replenish option does before you confirm the order.
This video is useful for warehouse staff, store managers, and anyone who manages stock day to day. Once you understand scrap orders, you’ll have a clean and reliable way to remove unusable products from your inventory.
